September is here and that means fall is right around the corner. But if you’re anything like me, you’ve been pretending it’s fall since the beginning of August. Like many, fall is my absolute favorite season. There are so many things I love about fall, so I wanted to share with you my love and appreciation for the season with you.

The Scenery.

One October day I was driving from Winona, Minnesota to Grand Rapids, Minnesota and as I progressed on my drive I looked at the trees that were blooming with colors. I can’t even explain the appreciation I have for the fall scenery. Living in Minnesota, we only get a few weeks of the beautiful fall weather so I have to appreciate it while I can. But this just makes me even more excited for fall every year.

Pumpkin Spice Everything!

Call me a basic white girl, but I love pumpkin spice flavors. Pumpkin spice everything is my favorite flavor to ever exist. I love pumpkin spice bars, lattes, and everything. In fact, I just bought Pumpkin Spice Starbucks K-cups. I’m set for a while.

Halloween, Halloween, Halloween!

Halloween is hands down my favorite holiday. I’ve always really loved Halloween and have spent more time than what is healthy planning my costumes out. This year I bought my Halloween costume in January. Yes, January. I am going to be Jackie Burkhart from That 70’s Show. I have a striped dress and an orange denim jacket. Now to figure out where I’m celebrating.

Pumpkin Patches.

One of my favorite things to do in the fall is go to pumpkin patches. Some people might call me childish, but I don’t even care. I absolutely love, love, love corn mazes, hayrides and picking out pumpkins. 

Cozy Nights In.

There is nothing better to be than curling up with a nice book or turn Netflix on during fall. I can’t even explain the feeling I have in moments like this. I just feel so happy and warm, and I always look forward to fall nights in.

Fall Fashion.

I have always loved fall fashion. Cute cardigans and boots are my absolute go to. I used to work at Maurices so I was lucky enough to load up on some very cute fall items during my time working there. I even bought a shirt once that said, “But I think I love fall most of all.” I will forever love fall fashion.

My birthday!

OK I might be biased, but my birthday is October 14. October honestly is a magical month in my eyes. This year is also the year I turn 21 so I am extra excited for this October. Between it being fall, my birthday and Halloween… it is the happiest time of year to me.
