I am a Los Angeles-based Public Relations Director at Augustine Agency. I oversee and develop the PR strategies, manage day-to-day projects and activities, develop and execute press materials (press releases, media alerts, talking points, etc.), monitor and manage editorial calendars, inquiries from various media services and event listings, assist with crisis communication, and more. I work with client accounts like North Lake Tahoe, Downtown Napa, Discover Torrance, Discover Siskiyou, the National Mango Board and Maverik, which acquired Kum & Go.
Prior to accepting this position, I held the role of Account Coordinator at The Calico Group where I maintained and developed client and supplier relationships (both domestically and overseas), assisted in content planning, package design, coordination of projects, and managed daily correspondence with customers, suppliers, and inner-office team members. I worked on client accounts such as Papa’s Herb, Caliva, FarmaceuticalRX, Organic Remedies, and more.
Before Calico, I was an Account Executive at Skyya PR, a Minneapolis-based public relations agency which specializes in consumer tech, mobility and transportation. I primarily worked on the Arcimoto and Gocycle accounts to draft and create press materials, pitch the media, work on campaigns and product launches, etc.
I graduated from Winona State University where I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication with emphasis on PR and Advertising. During my time at Winona State, I held various internship positions in the realm of event marketing and planning, social media content creation, digital media, influencer marketing, media relations and account management. I also participated in a university-led travel study to China where I spent a month immersed in the culture, learning about new media communication in China.
